Journey's is a free Bereavement Support Group
A 6 week course will begin each Monday, June 4 through July 9, 2012 10:00 - 11:30 a.m., at The Renaissance, 101 W. National Ave., Brazil. Claudia Hall, 69, of Brazil, passed away on February 4, 2012, at Exceptional Living Center, in Brazil, where she had been a resident for the past three years. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 9, 1942, to Harry G. and Phoebe “Jane” (Cooksey) Irvin. On August 6, 1971, she married Jackie E. Hall in the Second Armored Division Chapel by an Army Chaplain at Fort Hood, TX. She was a Floral Designer by trade and was last employed at Miller Flower Shop in Terre Haute until her health forced her to retire. She spent her teen years in Florida and graduated from Lake Worth, Florida High School in 1960 and graduated from Palm Beach Junior College with a degree in Commercial Art Design and Layout. She gave private lessons in Macramé and floral designing. She was a master Gardner and a Landscape Design Critic. Her memberships included life member of National Garden Clubs, life member of The Garden Club of Indiana, Indianapolis garden club, life member and past President of VFW Post 1127 Ladies Auxiliary, life member of American Legion Post 2 Ladies Auxiliary, Eagles Aerie 274 Ladies Auxiliary. Besides her husband she is survived by her son Brian (Trish) Pritchard, her daughter Lynda G. (Ed) McAuliffe, granddaughter Maggie J. Brown, grandson William Powell, and great grandson Carter M. Weaver. One aunt Patricia Wardell and one special cousin Tam Wardell, sister Harrietta Wagner, two nieces and several cousins. Funeral InformationServices will be at French Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-8pm.
