Anthony G. Anderson, 82 of Clay City died February 5, 2010 at 9:40pm at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

He was born June 21, 1927 in Charleston, S.C. the son of James M. Anderson and Annie Thompson Anderson.

He attended school in South Carolina and then later worked in maintenance at The Citadel College for over 30 years.

On May 21, 1989 he married Alberta Friend Anderson. They later moved to Indiana to be closer to her family. They moved to Clay City three years ago.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife Alberta Anderson of Clay City; step-daughter Monica Callahan and husband Jeff of Coalmont; granddaughter Sarah Hassler and husband Joseph of Clay City; two great-granddaughters, Joanie Marie and Kieran Hassler.

Funeral Information

There will be no services and cremation was chosen.
